Fair Trade means a safe and healthy working environment free of forced labor. Throughout the trading chain, we cultivate workplaces that empower people to participate in decisions that affect them.

We work side by side with our producers in all aspects of their production process, from sourcing materials to placing orders, to purchasing the final product and delivering it to our international marketplace. It’s important to us that we have this hands-on approach, as it ensures a transparency that enables us to assess and safeguard our entire supply chain.

We seek to eliminate discrimination based on race, caste, national origin, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation, union membership, political affiliation, age, marital or health status. We only create and support workplaces that are free from physical, sexual, psychological or verbal harassment and abuse. Where there has been longstanding ethnic conflict, we provide local leadership to work on breaking down the discrimination barriers and reconciling relationships.
