Basket Weaver

My name is Niyoyita Illumine and I am 20 years old. I am single. I stay at home with my father and my two brothers. I have stopped my studies when I was in secondary school because my father was not able to pay my school fees. I learned to weave when I was 17 years old from our neighbor. Now I am happy because I am able to weave. Through selling my baskets I get much money and help my father to resolve our family expenses like: buying some food, paying school fees for my brothers, and paying health insurance. This year I planned to buy a goat and open a savings account to the bank. Through participating in the training about saving from All Across Africa I had understood that is very important to have a personal account. Many thanks to our customers for buying our baskets.
